Positive Reinforcement

Alright just to let everyone know my existance is still eminent..

I decided to make a post today!

I cant believe that I have gotten so lazy with this blog, seriously last year I wrote at least one a day.

Now it's like.. 1 every few weeks.

Well sorta..

Kinda a month.

But that's my fault. So let's see, what did I miss?

Happy Fourth of July!

Alright now..

Crazy Phelps family?

Who hasn't heard of those guys? They have a flippin' website.

Soon Enough

My My, I't almost May!

You know what they say, "April showers bring May flowers"

Ok that was so random.

Summer is almost here, and I cannot wait. I can't remember whether I created this blog in June or July... I'm thinking it was July. Either way, it's amazing. The time sure does pass by so fast.

What has been going on?

Well, I have been so ocupada. [I didn't want to say busy, because that is what I ALWAYS say.]

I have had many things to do. And oddly, most of them have been durning the weekends.

SCHLITTERBAHN!

I went to there a week ago, it was the bomb. I'm telling you. I haven't been to Galveston in a LONG time. I kinda forgot what it looks like :P

It was great. Dia tried to drown me numerous times. She kept saying "Sorry!" but I don't think she meant it.

Speaking of drowing, I was going down this one slide, and the guy at the top was having too much fun playing with his walkie talkies, that he didn't tell me how to go down. See I had never been on this particuliar ride, and nobody told me I was supposed to cross my legs and arms, and to hold my nose. WELL. I was going down 60 ft of SCREAMING TORTURE. The water was so fast and furious, that I realized if I had of lifted my head up, it might've gauged my eyes out! I kept coming up for air, but sadly I was in a giant tube. A giant BLUE tube. Everyone kept saying that if you went on that ride, you would get a wedgie. They weren't kidding, ouch!

I just watched "Prom Night. " Not such a good movie. I read some reviews, and they were saying that it was completely predictable. Not lying! It was so cliche in a lot of it's scenes. I don't know if it was just me, but I found completely useless for that guy to kill all those people just to get to one girl, I mean really. And what is more retarded is that he kills then pretty much in the same room.. Or hotel room, whatever, SAME FLOOR.

I just thought it was extremely useless, and anyone who got scared by that... PUH-LEEZ

The only scary thing in that movie is the acting.

Seriously one of the lines from the movie is:

"Michael is making me so darn mad. And on top of that I have killer cramps!"

How lame is that?

If you want to see something scary, I advise Horton Hears A Who; that simple Children's movie has more worth than that.

Too Much

Where have the days gone? I came to make a post, and I saw that the last one was on the 26th. Kinda a long time ago.

This week was--what was it? I don't know.

I have a big headache right now. It just popped up out of nowhere.

I am watching "Never Been Kissed" though. It is one of those movies-- you know the movies that everyone watches, and it becomes a popular love story. It's good.

It's about this woman, who is a loser in high school, and then she grows up to be a reporter, and then she gets assigned to a job as an undercover high school student, and she has to create a story about the lives of those students.

Long story short, she ends up falling in love with one of her teachers, and then they make out for like 30 minutes at the end.

It is good. I have seen it so many times. Even though I know what happens, I really am able to watch it over and over.

My head feels like a bowling ball right now.

Hmm, the presidential election. What is my opinion? I think that the people need to stop leaning on that whole "HILLARY-OBAMA" thing.

OMG! A FEMALE PRESIDENT AND AN AFRICAN AMERICAN!

It's the Apocolypse. My jeebus people.. I have to admit that I feel a little sorry for the other canidates. It's almost like that don't have a chance. I think this is turning more into a celebrity thing. That one guy--what was his name? John Edwards? He dropped out. [Did you know he has his own Wikipedia page?] Well anyway, he has this sad story about his son dying when he was 16 and his wife has cancer. Nobody seems to notice that. Oh, but Hillary and Obama are talking trash about each other.. Ooo, that's front page coverage!

In other news, my computer is officially on crack. This thing keeps crashing, yet it cannot pick up any problems. That dreaded blue screen comes up. Gah, it's so depressing.

Some call it, the "BSOD" or formally known as The Blue Screen of Death. I don't think I want to call it by that name. It sounds too--too negative. Got to think positive here, I have only had this computer for little over a year.

So, I have completed the first entry for February. Tomorrow, I am supposed to have a track session. I wonder if I still remember how to run? I haven't done that in a long time either.

Apologize

Apologize--Timbland & OneRepublic. Good song.

This is not the way to start off the new year. I admit, I have been feeling a little lazy with writing in this blog, and I want to change that. It's just a little hard because I have so many things to do.

But I love my blog.

In that last post that I failed to complete, I left out two other movies: "Juno" and "Palindromes"

They are complete opposites yet, they are related.

Juno was a super good movie. I was kinda skeptic about it at first. I didn't know what I wanted to see at the movies, and I was already there, so I just picked one out. I had heard someone talking about that movie, and I decided I wanted to see it for myself. It was either that or "Alvin and the Chipmunks."

It was about this teenage girl that was 16, and she got pregnant by her not official boyfriend. In fact, there weren't even dating. They just thought that would give it a try. She has this spunky attitude, that runs the movie, but in the end, **** [not going to ruin it.]

Now the other movie, the one that just ruined all movies for me, did not make any sense what-so-ever. I didn't get the plot or anything. It was just about this psycho path girl (Probably not really a pyscho path, but by the things she does in this movie, it really seems like she is.) that goes on a journey to have a baby. She thinks she is "destined" to get one. She is like 13!

Basiclly she just bangs a bunch of guys [Young and old.] and then waits to see what happens. Not to mention she meets a lot of companions a long the way. What a skank.

After I had seen this, I seriously thought this was the worst movie that I had ever seen. It had no point.

Well, in other things, January is almost over, and here comes February. I'm telling you...

Air-Guitar

OK, so it is one minute until Midnight, and I decided to squeeze a post in since I never do this on Fridays.

The cold weather is the highlight of my year. I didn't even sweat at the game tonight--it was great.

One of my best friends and I are learning the "Thriller" dance. I think I said something about that before. Well, there is a song that goes with the choreography, (teaches you the dance, but instead it says funny words in place of the dance moves) and I have been singing it all day. Along with dancing :D One of the phrases is "Aiiiir-Guitar to the right, tick tock tick tock, rock-on, rock-on, rock-on, rock-on, rock-on, grab pull in punch punch punch down." I know it is very strange and random, but that is how it goes. There are other parts too, but this is the one that was stuck in my head.

Went to Friendswood tonight.

No seriously it is a place.

Tomorrow, I will probably get home late, that is, if our plans cancel. I am not expecting them to, but there is a slight chance they might.

Oh well, I guess it's off to 'Splash-Town.'

Missing You.

Anata ni! Aitakute! Aitakute!

Good song.

So anyway, I have missed 2 days, and at lease 3 in the past week. Sad. I guess I can't keep up. I haven't forgotten about my blog. Never. Unlike that stupid Bloguru one that won't work.

I have to make this sweet and short because I have things to do.

I was up until 2 a.m yesterday doing things and then I turned around and woke up at 6. Things like that make me just want to go kick everything to the curb, and take a vacation to Hawaii. Which is not at all a bad idea.

"Scheduled outage at 11PM PDT."

Hmm, I wonder what that means. LoL

I paid my phone bill yesterday. About time.

I LUB You!

Ha, I was listening to "Days- Tears of the World," and this one part, they are saying 'I love you,' but instead, it came out sounding like 'I lub you.' These guys have pretty thick accents what can I say?

I did alright today, just got sweaty a bit, and right now, that shower is calling me.

My ear itches.

Today, Pastel made the biggest post I think I have ever seen him make in my life; I was so proud. :D

It almost rained on me today. I was outside.

It is so weird. I don't have anything to talk about. That never happens to me.

I went to All American, and I just got back, and I am happy (Elated for Pastel :D)

I did good! And I didn't fall (too much). I was doing way better. Ha.

My bad day is over, and I am hoping that they stay over. That one tired day I had was so embarassing, and just plain terrible. I could not believe how terrible I did. That was a month ago, so I guess it doesn't matter anymore.

Like I said, not much to talk about. My kittens are fat now, and big, and no longer kittens, but 'gatos' (Cats)

My back itches, I'm going to go scratch it.

Take it easy

Well, I'm still alive. It looks like the hurricane was invisible, because the sun was shinning all day. I think I want to sue those weather forecasters.

I think actually it went towards Mexico.

Wow, no early morning anything, I was home most of the day until 4:00 pm.

Today was my mom's birthday, and my brother took us all out to dinner at 'Red Lobster'. I thought that was a silly thing because he is allergic to all types of fish. He got a steak instead.

You know what I just realized? This thing is like a giant diary. I mean, I write in it everyday, but I don't think of it like that. I can look back all the way to June, and see what I did every single day.

Can you believe it is already almost September? Then it will be November, then December. Then JANUARY. OMG, nobody wants to think about that.

The years are going by faster and faster, and all we can do is hold on for our lives. :D

HEY YOU! Read the post under this one. For some weird reason it didn't show up when I posted it, and it only showed up when I posted this one. Weird.

Sore Muscles

Ooh,

The heat advisory today was 102 degrees F. Now, that's hooot!

I'm so sore right now. Shoulder muscles. I don't think those have ever been hurt. I have gymnastics tomorrow too. Yippee.

I had to change my schedule afterall, because Fridays are just too hectic. Plus, I'm not doing anything on Tuesdays nights. *I get another change to redeem myself for what happened Friday. It was a terrible class*

I have to get up at 6:20 tomorrow to go to the Taqueria to meet a friend. SO EARLY.

I had the strangest dinner tonight: Grapes, Watermelon, and Lasagna?

That didn't fit.

That one is almost weird as that one time I had pancakes and fried okra. Hehe.

I finally changed the song! I couldn't choose, so I got V6. I was getting a little tired of K. He is a great singer, but not every single time I enter my blog.

"Days - Tears of the World" is a good song. It makes me think of dying babies though. I don't know why. I think it's the whole 'tears of the world' thing.

Habanera

Ahh,

Right now, I am too tired to write anything. Here comes the week again, and I am not prepared for it. It sucks. I really do miss sleeping in.

Last night I went to sleep at around 8 or 9, which happened in the weirdest way; I was doing some contortion, (You know, conditioning for my back) and then I stretched out on the floor and went to sleep. So strange. Later I got up and went to the bed, and then went to sleep.

I got up the this morning at 8:20 a.m. I could not belive I slept that long. That never happens. I guess it is good for me. I should do it more often.

Too tell you the truth, I seriously don't know why I put "Habanera" on my title. I don't think I spelled that right anyway.

In a few weeks, I might have to change my Gymnastic day to Tuesday, because my Fridays are becoming more and more busy. I am not getting there on time.

Gaah, my triceps hurt like a mug.

I am going to miss this writing in my blog. It is going to slow down to a post a week, I am sure.

I have NO time for piano. Sucks. I was on the third page of "Wind of Life" too. At least I finished 'Only Human.'

I think my computer caught a virus yesterday. If it did, it was a weird one. My anti-virus serivce said that it caught a trojan virus. Those things are deadly. It said that it was one that takes files off of your computer, and puts them on the internet. Especially Microsoft Word documents. Private files, and photos. It is nicknamed "embarassment" I don't have files that would embarass me, but a virus is still a virus, no matter what.

My computer just got done being in the shop for a few days 2 months ago, updating the virus protection. It better not catch anything.

I had trouble turning it on this morning, which scared the crap outta me. I thought it was crashing by a virus, but I think I was logged in trying to log in twice. I EXTREMELY hope that was a one time thing. I am so afraid to turn it off; it might not come back on.

This wasn't a cheap computer.

I guess my tooth pain has slowed up. I just need to go back Thursday, and we will see what else goes from there.

Right now, I am tired, so I am going to sleep. It's only 10:33 too, but you know what, I need 8 hours of sleep now.

Szia.

Discombobulation

I don't know if that is spelled right.

Dang.

I missed a day.

I haven't missed a day in almost 2 months.

Except for yesterday.

I got busy towards the end.

Yesterday, I went to Josephine's to help her with her new home! Before that I spent most of it talking to Pastel :D

Ahh! I saw "Transformers:" One word. LAME, or as Peter would say 'Gagyi'

I knew I wouldn't like it. I didn't think they should have advertised it that strongly. I mean, it's giant robots.

The originals still are the best. I remember watching those when I was a kid.

ALSO. The special effects were TOO MUCH.

I couldn't even watch the movie! Maybe the fact that we were watching a bootleg copy had something to do with it, but I just thought it was too much.

Plot, annh. Shakey a little. It was alright until I saw a giant skating car.

Seriously not worth the Top #250 on IMDB.

I felt like such a good decorator today. I put up all this useless junk. The goal was to get it all out of boxes, and onto the walls.

我的名字是 Leah

The above text says "My name is Leah" in Chinese.

"Oh Leah! You know Chinese too!? You are just amazing!"

I know.

However, I do not know Chinese. I have a buddy that is trying desprately to teach me, but he did get a little successful today.

"Ni Hao" Means Hello. I already knew that though. He was in awe. He thinks I am just so smart. Lol.

Wo de ming zi shi..
My name is..
Ni jiao shen mo ming zi?
What is your name?

I always thought it was hard. I guess it is not. I think it is just the pronounciation. The sentence structure doesn't look that complicated. That is the thing with me and languages. I can read it sure, but I just need to know how to pronounce it. I could go 5 years learning a language, and end up pronouncing everything wrong. There would be no use for it. I asked Lee what was the pronounciation for the letters. He told me "A" like in "Bus". Weird, I know, but Chinese is a funky little language. I think that along with French go hand in hand.

I just so happened to learn a little bit more French today, only this time, it is more in depth:

Bonjour - Hello. Traditional Phrase. Used in America as well as Disney's Beauty and The Beast.
Pronounciation: Like BOWL without the "L". PLUS SHORE.

Comment t'appelles-tu? - What is your name? One of the very first French phrases I learned.
Pronounciation: Como (Like in Spanish) PLUS the "TA" in "TOT" PLUS "Pale" PLUS "TOO" from "tooth."

Je m'appelle.. - My name is.. Great way to trick people into thinking you speak French.
Pronounciation: A combined J+Z+E sound PLUS "MA" in "MOP" PLUS "PALE" again.

Et Toi? - And You? Was so easy to learn because it looks a lot like the Spanish "Y Tu?" They both mean the same thing. Things like that make this job so easy.
Pronounciation: E like in "E.T" PLUS "Too" like in "tooth" again PLUS "A" in "TOT"

I learned a smidget more, but I don't feel like putting the rest. I did a lot more today than that.

I got a complement on my piano playing tonight. I play for my church, and I have been playing there for a few months now. I am suprised someone said anything. I mean, yeah, I am an ok player. I am not perfect or anything. I play by music better than I do by ear, AND I have good days, and bad days, but I guess this was a good day, because they were really REALLY impressed.

"Wind of Life" is coming along. I have had it for over a year, and I just started playing it less than a month ago, and now.. I am almost to the third page. Not bad for a person who is learning 4 songs at one time, and who taught themselves how to play piano.

Yeah that's right, I taught myself. My mother took piano classes when she was younger, but at the time when I wanted to learn when I was younger, she didn't feel like teaching me. I see where I got my laziness from!

So I took this cheap $50 keyboard we bought off of some old couple, and taught myself, starting with "Middle C."

Afterwards, I hunted down some easy sheet music for me to read, and gradually I went from simple C chords to more complex items like I don't know.. Bethoveen? Pachelbel?

I am currently working on "Only Human" by K, "Waltz of Chihiro" by Joe Hisaishi, "Wind Forest" by Joe Hisaishi, and "Wind of Life" by Joe Hisaishi. You can find all of these samples at Youtube.com, or go listen to my first internet attempt at playing on my Personal YouTube

All are amazing pieces, and I hope I learn them soon!

If you have any specific pieces you would like to hear played, by me, don't be shy to ask! You can send me copies, or just send me a name of what you would like to hear played.

I just got another complement on my blog. "I love your blog! It is a great way to express yourself!"

Thanks, I know.

I give her an A+

OH! There is some new music for my page in the making. I know you probably DON'T like what I have now, and there is a pretty good chance you are not going to like what I put up. Lol. This stuff is MY music. It's not like it will make your ears bleed or anything.

It is so late here. I have been doing this for over 2 hours. I quit and chatted for a while, but now I am back, and trying to fix things; I need to do so much, like fix my counter at the bottom of the page, change the song, and ningun otra cosas.

I also did some spanish today. I haven't practiced spanish in so long; Japanese has been stingey with all my time, so I haven't been able to do the other one. I had a bit of conversation in spanish today. It made me remember how much I still had left to go! But I managed. She didn't speak too quickly. Right now I am on ClassZone practicing my spanish. Free lessons if anyone wants to go!

I think they also have French, and German. I don't do German. Their spelling is Crazeh.

Man that was weird...

That last post, I had nothing to do with. I mean, I posted it and everything, but jeez. I was an accident I tell ya! Wasted effort. I couldn't even understand it.

It was in Hindi. It was a complete and utter accident. I was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong with my blog. I just got it!

It turned out that the transcription setting was on, and I had just previously set that on because I thought when it said "other languages" I thought they meant other languages could read it, not it go into other languages. But none-the-less, still cool.

Acabamos de venir a la casa del iglesia para mi mami's clase de A.C.T.S. Fuera aburrido porque tuve nada por hace.

I just put that last part in Spanish because I wanted to. :) Smiles.

Tomorrow I have gymnastics, and I need to work really hard; I have a goal to reach by the end of the summer; to raise my level.
